The Warning: Rock Queens in Columbus

This was the one I’d been waiting for. The Warning—three sisters turned modern rock queens—have gone from viral sensations to global headliners, and tonight I finally got to capture the chaos firsthand. 

The Scene

KEMBA Live’s indoor stage was packed out. The biggest surprise? The crowd wasn’t just young rock fans. It was mostly 35+ year olds—older rock guys pressed up against the barricade—mixed with a new wave of teens and even kids rocking Warning merch. Rock truly is alive for all ages.

The Energy

Before a note was even played, the room was loud. When Dani (vocals/guitar), Ale (bass), and Pau (drums) hit the stage, it got louder. At first, their energy felt a little reserved—maybe tour fatigue, maybe pacing themselves. But once Pau started screaming from behind the kit and the headbanging kicked in, the switch flipped. The Warning owned the venue.

Sound & Performance

The Warning don’t just sound good live—they sound better.

  • Dani’s vocals tore through the room, her screams echoed right back at her.
  • Ale’s bass shook the floor, especially during “Burn Out” and “All You Talk About.”
  • Pau, even while admitting she’d lost some voice, had the crowd screaming for her during “Evolve.”

No flashy theatrics needed—their musicianship is the show. Talented, beautiful, unapologetic. These three are modern rock queens.


The Crowd

Columbus gave everything back—headbanging, bouncing, chanting. Even without prompts, fans started their own call-and-responses. When “Money” dropped? Chaos in the best way. The riff, the claps, the screams—the roof was gone.

Highlights included the dueling guitar-and-bass moments between Dani and Ale, and Pau’s relentless drum fills that drove every track harder.

Touring in support of Keep Me Fed, they delivered a heavy-hitting setlist:

Final Thoughts

This was a bucket-list show, and The Warning didn’t disappoint. They bring the fire of 80s rock into the modern age, and the crowd is hungry for it. Columbus proved it—older fans, younger kids, and everyone in between.
